The City of Ontario has big plans for its historic downtown. Numerous public and private initiatives are currently underway to transform the District into the cultural and entertainment heart of Ontario.

A Planned Unit Development (PUD) will function as a set of planning and design principles, development regulations, and performance standards to implement the community’s Downtown vision. Within the project boundary, it will facilitate the development of a mix of uses, transformation of select existing buildings with adaptive reuse, parking strategies, as well as design guidelines for new development, Euclid Avenue, alleys, managed infrastructure, and the public realm.
